
We really like the Wii Fit Plus games because they are very entertaining as we strive to beat each other's score. They do get you off the couch and have fun. The exercises (strength training and yoga) are good solid exercises using repetition that is needed. However, I don't feel that I've ever hit my target heart rate using the different games. The fact that I have to stop after each exercise and listen (read) the screen telling me tips, pushing the A button, and then seeing where I scored before it will allow me to move on really is too much rest time between exercises. If you are starting a fitness routine after not having one, this is a great step in the right direction. If you are currently using the gym with 30 minutes of sustained cardio, this won't be the same. I recommend the Wii Fit Plus as long as you know what to expect and it meets your needs.
